Winter Magic 10-11 June 2017 9 am – 3 pm
Enjoy two magic days at the Village.
Saturday afternoon will see the Gallery in the Corridor present their new works, to a delightful array of Cheeses sponsored by Witches Chase Cheese Co, Tamborine. The Village and Cafe will be open as usual during the day and this event will begin at 1.00pm, with an opportunity to meet the artists, and enjoy a glass of wine with some complimentary cheeses. Entry to the Gallery and Cafe is Free.
Sunday is our Winter Magic Fair, featuring the Village Schools Art Competition, a Jumping Castle, Village Demonstrations – School House, Washing the Old way, Print Shop, Black Smith, and The Old Fire Truck, plus Billy Tea and Damper. So come on in, meet Mrs Louisa Logan and the Larrikin and be entertained by the Logan Performing Bush Poets, and enjoy live music by Wayne Caldwell and Safron and Beenleigh World Music. Sunday entry is Half Priced ($4 adults, Children $2) or for those with yearly passes, entry is free
The Village is privileged to host The Logan Performing Bush Poets the Second Sunday of Each Month on the Verandah of the Village Cafe from 9.00am -11.00am. You’ll Laugh and Cry with them as they entertain you in verse and in song. A magic Bunch of people and something that will keep you coming back for more.

Admission to Cafe and Poets is Free.

Biggest Morning Tea – Cancer Council Thursday May 25 2017 9am – 3pm
Our Village Cafe is proud to be a part of the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea. There will be Devonshire Teas and a mini Hi Tea option and lots of fun to be had… and all in support of such a worthwhile cause.

Lunch is from 11.00am – 2.00pm with the Cafe special being a delicious lamb rack with roast vegetables and yummy gravy for just $14.50, followed by homemade desserts prepared specially for the day from $6.60. If you would prefer, most normal items from our menu are also available.
Why not stop in at the Gallery so Mum can enjoy the original works on display there, or if you haven’t had time to shop maybe even treat her to a special gift from there for Mother’s Day.

Australia Day at The Village – Thursday 26 January 2017 9am – 3pm
What a Great Day to visit the Beenleigh Historical Village. Relive old memories and create new ones. We are proud to have South Coast Restorations attending with some of their stationary engines, hear them boom and chug!!!! The Logan Performing Bush Poets will be on the Verandah to keep you entertained with tales told magnificently – “You’ll laugh, You’ll cry, You’ll sing and You’ll sigh, you’ll know you’re an Aussie and you’ll feel a mile high”. There’ll be great food, the whole Village will be open and functioning, there’ll be Billy tea and Damper, Our New Mascot for the Kids, Billy Boo will make an appearance, with lots of old-fashioned games, even a thong throwing competition!!!!
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL – the Village’s – Gallery in the Corridor will be hosting “The Great Australia Day Art Competition” and all works will be on display with most of them for sale. What a great Day to come on in…… Hope to see you there!!!

Rock into Summer – Sunday 27 November 2016 9am – 3pm
A great day to visit the Village! Rock the day away with the music of “Back to the Future”, enjoy the new seasonal art pieces in our gallery – “The Gallery in the Corridor”, or just sit on the verandah while enjoying the great food and soaking up the atmosphere.
Mrs Louisa Logan and the Larrikin will be there and the village will be alive with Yesteryear demonstrations: the Blacksmith in his workshop, the Washerwoman, the School Teacher, The Print Shop, and the fire engine. There will be plenty for the kids with a Lolly Shop, Jumping Castle and activities on the village green. Perhaps catch a ride on “Big Yellow” or taste the delights of our Damper cooked in the ground. ENTRY IS FREE.

Scarlet Hollow Halloween Maze

Presented by Haunted Attractions Scarlet Hollow is an interactive Halloween maze set within our Village filled with terrifying, murderous creatures to scare, excite and entertain you.
Food and drinks available in our café after the event.

DayScare Kids Halloween Attraction
October 30th 12pm – 4pm
This is a TRICK OR TREAT EVENT presented by Haunted Attractions. It invites younger folk and easily scared adults to experience their very own “trick or treat event”. Presented in the Village our live interactive haunted town, filled with ghosts, zombies, vampires and monsters will scare, excite and entertain you.
Tickets include a “Trick or Treat Bag” to take with you as you follow the map around the town collecting fun things from the creatures along the way, plus much more.
Kids are encouraged to dress up in their best Halloween costume to join in the fun. This is a daytime experience, suitable for all ages, but recommended for 5 to 12 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
